Street Dogs - "Rustbelt Nation" 7" - PPR087

This item is unavailable.

As a follow-up to the Crooked Drunken Sons 7”, these three songs continue to show the magic that went down in Texas while the STREET DOGS enjoyed a rare break from the road to throw down some brilliant tracks in Johnny Rioux’s home studio (with old friend Rick Barton, ex-DROPKICK MURPHYS).

With as much traveling as this band has done over the past decade, a deserved break from the road was in order. Taking full advantage of it, and inspired by the way these songs naturally emerged and came to life, STREET DOGS are writing and recording their fifth full-length.

“Rustbelt Nation” is a prime example of that classic STREET DOGS sound, aggro-Americana at its best, the lasting traditions of intelligent American folk music, only with the aggression, passion and sheer “fist in the air” punk rock sentiment. Right along those lines, the brilliance of “Certain Fate” shows serious musical diversity, sheer experience and a clear love for what is being played; and “Eighteen For Life” pretty much sums it all up.
