  • Street Dogs - GOP Ultra Clear W/ Red, White & Blue Splatter Vinyl 7"

Originally released as 20,000 flexi postcards hand distributed by fans and friends to Republican events across all 50 states during the 2012 U.S. presidential election cycle, this scathing musical criticism of the American right shows the timeless nature of a good punk rock song. “GLC,” originally recorded by MENACE in 1978, scorned the Greater London Council for attempting to ban “punk” gigs in London and, as a result, many radio stations banned the song. Fans of punk have for years and years since treasured it universally, and it has appeared on many compilations and in hundreds of DJs’ sets. The fervor with which STREET DOGS cover this song and turn it into a poignant attack on the GOP is the beauty of this record. With it, the STREET DOGS once again stood up and displayed their heart and soul right on their sleeves. Buy one of these and sing along with the majority—“The GOP is full of shit, shit, shit! Shit! Shit!”
