Hunting Lions - "Light" White Vinyl LP

Following the release of their well-received “Dark” EP, we have the second release from these Bay Area scene veterans. Members of the bands Swingin' Utters, Roadside Bombs, The Beltones, US Bombs, Tiger Army, and more, they have already started playing shows and hit the festival circuit this year!

On “Light,” the limited press 12” white vinyl features a black silkscreened B-side and is packaged in a special white foldover cover.

“Some songs are optimistic and enthusiastically life-affirming like ‘Little Girl’ while others bemoan the loss of culture and innocence like in ‘Maggie Date,’” adds Coleman.

Songs like “Little Girl” tug on the heartstrings for any punk parent, as the song is dedicated to Coleman’s daughter. “I had a moment of clarity surrounding relationships during the pandemic. With the specter of death looming and relationships ending with the social circumstances that fostered them, what matters became more and more obvious every day,” Coleman says.

Hunting Lions will soon become a pillar of the Bay Area punk scene - this EP is strictly limited to 250 copies, so get one whilst you can!
